radio beer hall #120 - small is beautiful

On today's show... A recap of the North Fork Craft Beer Fest and we'll continue our dialog about why smaller is better. One way you can support this podcast is by purchasing a copy of The Beer Hall Guide to Long Island. The guide has information about all the breweries on Long Island, and information about the best craft beer bars and beer stores. I've also included a chapter on amateur craftbrewing and some other articles that will make the guide a satisfying reading experience.

Talk to your local, small brewers. Let them know that you like them small. Reward them with your loyalty. Don't force them into a situation where you force your neighbor to compete with the out of town competition. Work together to built a strong community based on cooperation. Unconstrained growth (in the industrial model) is just wrong; such growth lead to limited choice, diminished freedom, and lower quality.
